Kirsty & Chris’ wedding was postponed twice from 2020 to 2021 and then into 2022 which made this intimate Ibizan affair all the more special; a beautiful day, complete with fairies in tow to sprinkle a little magic fairy dust along the way.
“Alas, love exists in a world of fairies”
– Elliot M Ruben
The couple chose Villa Macao for their big day, a grand colonial home close to the little village of Santa Gertrudis, situated central to the island immersed in nature where the views over the rolling hills towards the sea glisten under the sun. Kirsty’s hair and make up was done by island MUA Katy Gill, who worked her magic to give Kirsty a perfectly polished bridal glow.
The ceremony was beautifully conducted by Danielle at Your Day Ibiza, a modern celebrant that mirrored their style and personalities perfectly, to reflect their unique love story.
“True love stories never have endings”
– Richard Bach
The couple opted for a minimalist approach to their decor, designing their own flower arch, bouquet and buttonholes, as well as the magic fairy wands of course.
“I plan to be with you until forever ends.”
Food and drinks were taken care of by the wonderful teams at Sabor Catering and Southside Bar, whilst the cake was created by island favourite Cupcake Collection. Deva Alchi entertained the guests on the sax during the aperitifs and DJ Brian Beezwaxhit the decks for the couple, their family and their friends to dance in celebration way into the night.
Kirsty and Chris‘ wedding was certainly a long time in the making, but their intimate day was absolutely beautiful, a joy to plan, and an honour to be part of.
“We are so glad we chose you to organise and guide us through our special day. Thank you so much for your help and guidance through the whole journey, we definitely couldn’t have done it without you. Our family and friends all commented on how good you were, big love x
